Artwork at 2

This week completes Sarah's full season/sort of school year-ish of a mid-week study at church.  If that sounds confusing, let me explain. I joined a mid-week bible study at church.  One of the big motivations for me to do so is for the girls to be in a class environment as well.  We started last September and we ended this week.

One of the cool things is that as I studied the book of Acts, Sarah was going through the book of Acts as well in her class. They had outside play time. They had arts and crafts time. They had worship. I've seen her grow in her time there.  She has surprised me by singing "Jesus Love Me" on her own. She recognized the "Jesus Storybook Bible" and calls it "God Book." She inserts who or what she is thankful for when we pray at night.  She started off a toddler having separation anxiety when she goes to class to now happily going to class and saying hi to her teachers and says "thank you" when we leave.

I am thankful that the Holy Spirit gave me the strength to drive in traffic to go to church on those mornings. To wake up each morning with two kids in tow and dropping them off in their classrooms.Often giving them their breakfast and milk in the car.   It is so worth it though.

Here is SOME of the artwork she has done.  My husband is going to hate me, but I'm keeping them.
