JP used to read to Sarah when she was in my stomach. JP loves to read outloud and who better to read to than his own daughter. Even if I was already asleep from pregnancy fatigue, he would still read outloud to my stomach. I think because of that Sarah recognized his voice very early. There's a certain look in her eyes that she gives only to him.
Here are some pictures that I absolutely love of JP reading to Sarah.
Sarah's babyshower theme was peek-a-boo Snoopy and Woodstock. Her Grandpa John called her Woodstock because of her first ultrasound picture. He said it looked like Woodstock.
When we found out we were having a girl and we were going to go with Sarah Elizabeth, I soon started calling her Sarah Bear. Then my friend Junerose bought her this Winnie the Pooh Book. She seems to love this the most.
In this next picture she was learning what a Heffalump is because she has never seen one before (any Pooh bear fans get that?)
Needless to say, I love when they have their time together reading. She may be a baby and not understand the story, but there's obviously something going on in her little mind and to get that smile, we'd do it all over again.
