Sarah's First Pumpkin Patch

 Every year since my niece was 4 years old, JP and I have taken her and our nephew EJ to the pumpkin patch at Cal Poly Pomona.  It's something that they look forward to every year and we love taking them.  We also buy them a halloween shirt each year to wear at the patch. This last October, we got to take Sarah with us and she got a halloween onesie.

 For those of you who know me very well, I love/loved and have raised my niece and nephew like my own.  I was there for their birth and stayed with my sister after as well as help my mom take care of them when she babysit them.  I used them as practice for waking up every 3 hours to feed and trying to figure out what they wanted.  I was also the disciplinarian in their life.  It didn't affect our relationship, as you can see.

 EJ is a very compassionate boy and loves to share.  He loves his little cousin a lot.  That day, he kept running around and carrying big heavy pumpkin and asking me if it was a good one for Sarah.  The kids get to buy a pumpkin each year and I usually carve a design for them whether it's R2D2 or Hello Kitty.  He loves to hold Sarah even if it's just for a short while.

Destiny is great at taking care of those younger than her.  She takes great care of her little brother.  I'm not talking about just being nice or coloring.  She's given him baths and prepares his food and even feeds him!  She takes very good care of Sarah and Sarah seems to respond to her and "babble" to her a lot.

And now ending, here is our little pumpkin who was asleep almost the entire time!
