Last night, Sarah's Great Ito Memo passed away. JP and I decided to let her know what was going on when we found out things were going downhill with his health. It was a challenge to explain it to her. And there were moments we can tell she didn't know how to express herself. However, last night when we got a call that he was on his last breaths and JP and his parents rushed out...she broke down and cried. Had questions. I held her and just let her.
One of the things I will always remember is the love I saw in his eyes just looking at her. He had moment where he would get choked up and start to tear. I can't say I understand it. I can't say that I will. But that love was so vivid to me and one day I hope I can do it justice explaining it to her.
