Boo-Boo

There's a lot of things I'm proud of with Sarah. I try to keep it to myself to not sound like an obnoxious parent. But out of all the things she has already learned, I am most proud of moments like this.

Today while she was sitting on the potty, she saw some bumps, scratches and bruises on her from the park. She starts to pray over each one. She says "Jesus, heal my boo-boo, in your name - Amen ."

Yes, she can sing her ABCs and almost perfected emphasizing L-M-N-O-P as separate letters. She can count to 12 on her own and sometimes can do up to 15...sometimes because she sometimes forgets 14. She knows baby signs that I don't even know. But what makes my heart melt? When she prays. When she reminds us to pray. When she folds her hands together. When she starts to sing "Jesus loves me" on her own. Or when "Oceans" or "10,000 Reasons' comes on she tries her hardest to sing with the song.

If those seeds stay planted and she grows into an awesome Woman of God...that I'd what I'll be proud of. God First.
