A lady in South Orange County blessed our family with this princess table. JP had opened it up to inspect it and Sarah played with it. I wasn't fully intending with her to play with it right away because I didn't think she was ready. Then again, there were a lot of things I didn't think she was ready for but proved me wrong. The only reason why I found out was she was ready was I just tried it to see what would happen.
Here, she is looking like a big girl sitting at her table. Looks like she likes it.

And then she couldn't keep still and tried to climb on her chair...
I think this is when it hit me that she is transitioning into full on toddler mode. Not that she wasn't showing signs, but I think this is when it truly hit me that my baby isn't a "baby." She'll always be me and JP's baby girl. It's just that now we feel she is growing so fast. She's trying to feed herself with a spoon and even though she can't quite get it, she won't let us help her; she'll get mad. But we can't take away the spoon either and just let her eat with her hands. She walks and semi-runs all over the house. She's showing more of her independent spirit. She's always been curious. But seeing her independence come out...I honestly love it. I love that she is walking all over the place. People told me that once they start walking, "that's it." This is just the beginning. I find it so much easier to watch her while she's walking and wandering around. I personally love it.
